I have ran in the last 4 races for Epilepsy. My sister died with epilepsy and I am so glad that I can do this for her. Thank you to Mrs McMinn and the board of directors for making this possible. I will be at the race again this year.

I was devastated when I found out my son was having seizures. I called Mrs. McMinn and she came to the hospital and brought a coloring book and she let my son know that he was just like everyone else and that God had given him a special gift to reach people. What a great association. I will be at the race again this year also.

My life has definately been touched by the work and the efforts of the Epilepsy Education Association of Arkansas. They have helped me to understand the strength that I have within. When diagnosed with Epilepsy, I was just like everyone else. I was afraid. I contacted Mrs. McMinn and she went to the doctors appointments with me and helped me get through the rough areas of my life. Thank you EEA for all you are doing for the State and for people like me. I am now seizure free, but I could not have held on through all of this without the Epilepsy Education Association of Arkansas. Thank you and God Bless you

We have been stuggling for about three years now, after the diagnosis of my husband having epilepsy. He had to quit college and our finances stopped. I had to go to work with three children and also hire someone to stay with my husband and kids when they were not in school. Thanks to the EEA, I was able to receive the information packets and to also help my family and my husband understand what was happening and how we would maintain a normal way of life.
Thanks, Margaret
